Introduction
MoreClientsChat ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered chat widget that small businesses embed on their websites to answer visitor questions and collect booking requests. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
From you (our customer):
- Your email address and name when you subscribe, and the business information you provide for widget configuration (services, hours, FAQ, tone).
- Subscription status. We do not store payment card numbers — payments are handled by our Merchant of Record (see below).
From visitors to your website:
- Chat messages exchanged with the widget, kept to maintain conversation continuity during a session.
- Booking form submissions (name, phone, email, message) when a visitor requests to be contacted. These leads are emailed to you in real time.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and personalize the MoreClientsChat service.
- Maintain conversation history so visitors' chats stay coherent within a session.
- Deliver each captured lead to your email inbox.
- Process your subscription and send transactional emails.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
AI and Your Data
Widget conversations are processed by OpenAI to generate replies. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, content sent through the API is not used to train their models. We use the API solely to provide the service; conversations remain private and confidential.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted service providers to operate MoreClientsChat:
- Supabase — database and storage.
- OpenAI — AI conversation processing.
- Dodo Payments — Merchant of Record for subscriptions; handles all payment card data, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (lead notifications, account emails).
- Railway — application hosting.
Each provider receives only the minimum information necessary to perform its function.
Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential browser storage required for the widget to operate (a session token kept in sessionStorage). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on the widget.
Data Retention
We keep your account and widget data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your account, we permanently delete your business information, configured content, chat history, and captured leads within 30 days. Some records (for example invoices held by our payment processor) may be retained separately for tax compliance.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — close your account and request full data removal.
- Export — request your data in a portable format.

Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to stored data is restricted.
Children
MoreClientsChat is a business-to-business service intended for use by adults operating a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on this website. Continued use of MoreClientsChat after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
